In Women's Primal Drumming, we as women reconnect to our birthright as drummers and heal the sister wound through deep love and experiencing. Through the use of vocal activation, primal movement, personal expression, and, of course, primal drumming, we remember Who We Are and the power we hold to impact change in this incarnation on Earth. Rhythm is in our souls, and in Women's Primal Drumming, we use it to get in touch with our truest and most primal selves.

A shorter, more lighthearted, playful twist on the original Women's Primal Drumming Ceremonies but for all genders. Flush with primal roars, improvisational soundscape creation, and a lot of silliness. Done with or without djembe drums, a group activation can be incorporated into another event or be implemented on its own as the star of primal show.

1:1 Private Primal
Drumming Ceremony
An intimate deep dive into experiencing and expressing the core of your essence and your truest and most primal self. This session guides you through vocal expression, movement, breath, and, of course, primal drumming, so that you can experience your full power and step into the highest version of who you are.

Small Group Lessons

Learning in a group allows us to tap into deeper powers of understanding and trust. In these lessons, we will move through light vocal activation and rhythmic speaking to warm up, and I will guide you through learning syncopated rhythms and solos that you can take with you for continued growth on your own. Corporate Activations and Primal Drumming Ceremonies

For companies desiring to establish a deeper connection and sense of trust amongst employees, I offer corporate activations. These are a more "daytime friendly" version of the primal drum and standard activations. Get to the core of communication and collaboration with fellow employees by connecting through rhythm and joyful expression.
Everyday Djembe
8-Week Online Group Class
Everyday Djembe is a cozy weekly meet up where we can unwind, joke around, and learn how to incorporate the medicine of the djembe into our daily lives.
The class has a relaxed vibe and focuses on helping you incorporate djembe into your life as a tool for support, release, and healing. If you’re looking to gain confidence in your playing so you can jam at a drum circle, play along to music, or simply play for self-discovery and internal growth, this is for you.
We will learn proper technique and rhythms as well as intuitive and meditative playing for relaxation into deeper states and community jamming. Week 1 begins with basic and advanced technique, and we will flow through dynamic playing, time signatures, ecstatic soloing, fills, intuitive jamming, accents, and how to stand out as a drummer.
We will also incorporate ancient and traditional song and learn about how you can share song and drumming to create community.
There will also a private Telegram group just for the class where I will share weekly rhythm and technique videos and encourage discussion and questions amongst community members. Before we begin, I will also send a printable booklet with what we do in class.
Class recordings will always be provided in case you cannot attend certain days.
